New Vodkas at the Emporium
We have a few new vodkas to try in 2012. Heavy water makes a return to the shelves of the Emporium and one of our favourite Distillers, Chase, bring out a limited edition Bramley Vodka. We also have a new offering from Micro Distillery Sacred as well as a new flavour from the Swedish heavy weights Absolut.
Heavy Water Vodka
Heavy Water is the multi-award-winning, robust, balanced, refined vodka distilled from Scandinavian winter wheat and water from a subterranean lake formed during the great Ice Age.
Heavy Water Vodka is a smooth, clean, and refreshing ultra-premium vodka with a long finish: it’s the Evolution in Vodka.
Chase Sharp Bramley Apple Vodka is the second Limited Edition vodka to find its way out of the Chase Distillery in Herefordshire. In the last 18 Months the Chase Marmalade has gone down a storm in bars and retail alike. If the Chase Bramley Apple Vodka is anything near as good as the Marmalade then this first batch limited Edition run of 2000 bottles could disappear very quickly indeed.
Sacred organic vodka is the latest creation from the award winning microdistiller Ian Hart.
Sacred Microdistillery can be found in Highgate, London and has a growing reputation since its first batch was produced back in 2009. The distillery can be found near the summit of Highgate Hill in London and has been organically approved to Soil Association standards.
Sacred Organic has a blend of Wheat and Rye vodkas (unspiced, and very, very pure).
Absolut Mango is made exclusively from natural ingredients, and unlike most other flavored vodkas, it doesn’t contain any added sugar. Absolut Mango is full-bodied and juicy with a character of ripe mango and notes of tropical fruits.
