Chase Rhubarb vodka is the result of using the finest Herefordshire Rhubarb that is slowly cooked and then marinaded with their award winning vodka in a copper pot still. The liquid is then distilled for a fourth time to ensure all the flavours blend together.

Wight Vodka, the latest addition to the Vodka Emporium range.

Every now and again we stumble across a new vodka that takes us by surprise.
At the start of the summer we started to hear about this great vodka that is making waves in the sailing community. Well we had to find out a little bit more and consider adding this to our range.

Wight Vodka was inspired by the calm experience while enjoying a sunset over the water, to the headiness of winning your first regatta.

The vodka itself is potato based and is distilled in London by a Master Distiller whose family has 300 years of experience!
The vodka itself is distilled seven times which for a bottle of vodka priced just over £30.00 is unheard of.
You get an aroma of honeysuckle and those of you that have a keen sense of smell will detect a nice hint of plum as well.

This vodka really does have a fresh finish to it as well, it’s not heavy on the palate at all and goes really well with some coastal cocktails, more of which we’ll put on our site soon.

It really is difficult to find a decent quality English Vodka and we certainly feel here at the Emporium that this is a must. So far in 2009 we have seen the launch of Chase Vodka and now Wight vodka, as Wights presence becomes better known, we have something to shout about when it comes to our Vodkas. Forget your grey goose fanatics or your Smirnoff drinkers, if you want that bit of quality in your drink then sit back and enjoy a shot of Wight with some pleasant thoughts of the English Coast. It really doesn’t get any better.

We have an update on this favourite of ours. Wight Vodka has just won the Silver medal in the prestigious Vodka Masters in Cannes. The award was for the Super Premium category for Design and Packaging.

Not only does it taste great but now has been recognised for its stylish design and presentation.
